Opportunity Lodge is a lodge in which every Moose should have a dual membership, because your dues can make such a difference in the quality of life for our senior Moose brothers and their wives, who reside at our beautiful City of Contentment on the shores of the St. John's River in Orange Park Florida.

Examples of what Opportunity Lodge does with the Honorary Membership Donations is providing residents with eight Dinner Dances a year with live music and refreshments.
Regular Bingo is held for residents, in the Auditorium, which is also our Lodge Meeting Room. Activities on the Campus such as Pool, Darts, and Shuffleboard, are regularly held, each of which features cash prizes., from the money which you provide through your membership.
Funds of the Lodge obtained from the Honorary membership program in the past have been wisely used to purchase Ice Machines, Drink Dispensers, Emergency Lighting Systems, Tools, Battery Chargers, Air Compressors, Mail Carts, Lathes, Grinders and Lawn care equipment to name but a few. All of which have benefited Moosehaven Residents.
There is a Moose Legion 100% Program which encourages Moose Legion Assistant Secretaries to encourage their Lodge Moose Legionnaires to raise sufficient funs to make every Legionnaire in their Lodge to become an Honorary member. An Appreciation Certificate is issued for this contribution.

It has become increasingly evident that the existing dues structure for Opportunity Honorary Membership is outdated and not financially viable. To the best of our knowledge there has never been an increase of Honorary Membership Dues since the inception of the program. The present structure is not viable to support mailing and the cost of the paperwork involved.
Our minimum donation has been a $1. Or a donation of your choice, from the inception of the program, we will still be happy to receive all donations no matter how large or small.
Please support our program by endorsing the following donation list, which takes affect from April 1, 2005.
